Frequently Asked Questions

What is a "spoonie"?

The “spoon theory” is a popular metaphor coined by Christine Miserandino and adopted by the chronic illness community. It uses the common object of a spoon as visual representation of the amount of mental or physical energy, a person living with a chronic illness or disability (a “spoonie”) Has available. It explains how these “spoons” are then to be carefully rationed on daily activities and tasks that many people take for granted.

Why hasn't my order been dispatched yet?

We are a small business run by two chronically ill disabled people, which unfortunately means that sometimes due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control (like health emergencies, hospital trips etc) our dispatch times can be longer than we'd like.

Our standard dispatch times are usually 5-8 working days, to allow us reasonable flexibility due to the unpredictable nature of chronic illness.

We will always do our best to dispatch your order on time, but please understand that unfortunately due to the nature of our shop, this is not always possible.

If you have any questions then please feel free to message us and we will always do our best to help!

My order hasn't arrived yet! (International)

Please be aware that international shipping usually takes on average, around 20-30 working days (excludes weekends and bank holidays). We try to make this as transparent as possible on our listings etc, but we are aware that Etsy does like to make it's own shipping estimations that unfortunately from experience, we know are often wildly optimistic!

If Etsy says your order should have arrived, or has prompted you to leave a review, please don't panic! This is an automated action triggered by Etsy's own parameters. Your order is still likely safely on its way.

Please do reach out to us if it has been over 30 working days and you have still not received your order and we will do our best to help!

Where's my tracking number?

Please note that all orders are sent as standard (without a tracking number) unless tracking is explicitly purchased at checkout.

The reason for this is that tracked shipping, especially internationally, can often be more expensive than the products themselves!

We want to keep our shipping costs as low as possible for you, but we can and do offer upgraded tracked shipping at an extra cost if requested.

If you would like to purchase your order with tracked shipping, please make sure to select the tracked shipping option at checkout, or message us if you have any problems!
